116 new state laws set to go into effect in Nebraska

Synopsis:

"— HUMAN TRAFFICKING: Human traffickers will face harsher penalties in Nebraska under a law backed by victim advocates and the Nebraska attorney general's office. So will johns who solicit prostitutes. The law applies to both sex trafficking and labor trafficking, a form of modern-day slavery. The law is LB289."
